Biographical note:
Huda Almazroua is a lecturer at Princess Nourah University in Saudi which grants her a scholarship for a PhD. She is PhD researcher at Chelsea College of Art, University of the Arts London, where she also imparts knowledge as a GRiT lecturer. With a background in art education, a Master of Research from Umm Al-Qura University and a Master of Fine Art with Distinction from the University of Arts, London, she has established herself as a generative artist and creative coder. Huda’s pioneering research interest lies in utilising generative art as a means of narrative and storytelling, particularly in preserving cultural and documentary heritage. Her academic pursuits are driven by a quest to explore the coding of faith and the complex relationships between human and computational creativity, positioning her at the forefront of contemporary Muslim art practice. Exhibited internationally, her work seeks to encapsulate and convey the richness of cultural narratives, often intertwining spiritual with technological narratives. Her work has been showcased globally in solo and group exhibitions, including in prestigious venues such as New York Times Square and the London cultural sphere. A recipient of grants and a speaker at international forums, Huda’s influence extends to her active engagement with Saudi Arabian cultural initiatives.
